So today I had quite the adventure. It wasn't really a good adventure, especially since I never even got my computer battery which was what I was going for anyways. Basically my dad ordered a new battery for my computer but they would only ship by purolator and, as they always do, they tried to deliver it when I wasn't home. So I got one of those notes on my door telling me where I can pick it up. I look up this address on the internet and find out that its way on the other side of town (by Airport road for those of you in London). So I decided it wouldn't be too bad, I would just have to take 2 buses to get there. I got on the Oxford West and went a good portion of the way (where I saw a church called the Sacred Blessed Church, I thought that was a bit of a crazy name) but when I got off to catch the 4B I discovered, after a 10 minute walk to the next bus stop, that it only runs down where I was going during rush hour. Probably would have been nice to know that before I went out there at 1pm. So I decided to walk to airport road, it couldn't be that far. After half an hour of walking with no sidewalks, lots of mud, a dead racoon and many smelly huge trucks I decided that I was going to turn around if the next set of lights I got to wasn't airport road. Apparently those lights were further away than I thought so I spent a few more minutes walking through the industrial area of London. Well those lights were not airport road so I had to turn around and go back on the other side of the road which was pretty much just as muddy as the other side had been. As I was approaching the bus stop I watched the bus go by. So I had to wait at the bus stop for another 15 minutes while watching the billboard across the street gradually become an advertisement for Prison Break. Finally the bus came and I made it back here. :) That's pretty much the end of the story, the moral being, that you should never forget how wonderful sidewalks are and that purolator is stupid. Why would you put a pickup place way out in the industrial area? Especially since there are plenty of pickup centers near me that they could have brought it to. In conclusion, not a fun adventure. Now onto studying for astro. Current Mood: tired | | Saturday, March 4th, 2006 | | 9:50 pm |

Hi there everyone!! Well its been quite a while since I did a real update here. I don't even remember the last time I updated with something other than one of those quiz things. Oh well. My life hasn't been terribly exciting. In fact I spend most of my time doing homework. That's what all the physics and math classes will do to you. Right now I've got 2 assignments that I should be doing but I'm in need of a break. Hmmm what do I have to talk about? Well as of now there has been no word on who got the nsercs. I would be very surprised if I get one since my average wasn't really high enough last year. Hopefully my supervisor will be able to hire me anyways. It seems that the astrophysics crew will be having quite a few adventures over the summer break. We've already got plans to go to starfest and to build rockets and shoot them off in some field. Also we are going to have many marathons. For the past few weeks we've been having about one marathon a week. We've done Star Trek, Star Wars and Reboot. I had never seen Reboot until this past weekend. I never realized what I was missing out on. It was a very funny show. We've still got Lord of the Rings, Science fact and many other marathons left to do. That is if we ever have a break from the crazy amounts of homework. Well of my 5 courses I have midterms for 4 of them in the week before reading week so reading week will be a nice break. Wow, I don't think I have updated this even with our astrophysics trip to funk night. We all decided after our calc final last term that we would go to funk night. But it wasn't just any trip... We decided that we would all wear sweater vests and be the nerdiest people there. We had a good time and accomplished our goal, we were definetly the nerdiest people there. :) I think thats about everything exciting. If I think of anything else that I missed I'll update again later. Hopefully I'll update soon. Bye Everyone!!! Current Mood: overworked | | Wednesday, February 1st, 2006 | | 8:42 pm |

(why am I coming up with stalker songs??) 2. Andrea needs treatment – not a death sentence. (yeah I'd prefer to avoid the death sentence) 3. Andrea needs to be able to create written material. (I thought I could, maybe I'm illiterate and I don't even know it) 4. Andrea needs to visit a mental hospital. (Don't we all) 5. Andrea needs some optimal sledding advice. (I didn't realize I was such a bad sledder) :( 6. Andrea needs to be promoted to Commodore Andrea. (thats not a bad idea, lol) 7. Andrea needs to subtract 203 from 299. (if only calculus were so simple) 8. Andrea needs 3 days off and 3 bottles of French Champagne. (I swear I'm not an alcoholic) 9. Andrea needs your $13 by Monday. (yes, yes I do) 10. Andrea needs a sign to indicate that UV lamps are in use. (I don't even know what to say about this one) Ah that was good fun. :D Current Mood: physics lab is done!! | | Thursday, September 29th, 2005 | | 11:17 pm |

Hey there people!! Wow, I haven't updated this since I've been back at school. It's been a while. Well I'm back at school now living in a house with 3 of my friends. Its been good so far. I've found that I'm less homesick being in the house then I was when I was in rez. I probably just needed to get away from the crazy drunks who were roaming the halls at strange hours of the night. Finally the downstairs of our house has a phone line. It took quite a while but now its finally there. Now I just have to wait for primus to activate my long distance plan and I can call long distance numbers. If you want my phone number and I haven't already given it to you, email me. Well next week seems to be project due week. I have a calc project and physics lab due on mon, astro on thurs, and physics on fri. Fun fun. Well calc is almost done and I should probably start on my physics lab now so I'll be going now. Bye everyone! Current Mood: frustrated | | Wednesday, August 17th, 2005 | | 12:15 pm |
Hello everyone!! Long time no journal. LOL. 92 Days until GOF! Well I got back from Newfoundland about a week and a half ago now. It was great there. Good weather, pretty scenery. I have lots of pictures!! We saw mountains and lighthouses and whales and moose and many other things.

To the Star Trek fans reading this, doesn't this cloud look like the enterprise?

And this one's for you Clare!!

In less happy news I just found out on thursday that the mother of one of my friends from high school died last week. I can't even imagine how horrible that would be to have happen. Someone who you've had around everyday for your whole life suddenly wasn't there anymore. It's awful. | | Saturday, July 16th, 2005 | | 9:33 pm |
I just finished reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I don't know what to say. I wasn't really suprised about the death but Harry's decision at the end... I wonder what the next book will be like. Current Mood: shocked | | Thursday, June 30th, 2005 | | 11:22 am |
Hey!! So since my last entry I got fish. I had three of them but one of them died last night. :( I had only had them for 2 days though so it must have been sick before. Don't worry Clare, I'll get another fish to name after you!! The other two seem to be doing well. My mom says that Jonas has ADD but since you can't give fish ridelin there isn't much that can be done. Speed is the other fish. He seems to be fairly normal so far. So I went to work last night and Dan, the guy who started the company, came to look at our store. It was a little nerve racking but apparently he said it looked good. Steph and I are maybe going to wonderland tomorrow for the fireworks and stuff so that should be interesting. It might be a little crowded but oh well. Well thats all for now. Bye. Hello!! Well my fishtank is almost ready for fish!! I have picked out which fish I want so hopefully no one will have bought them yet. I haven't been doing anything really exciting. I am moving some of my stuff up to my house for next year tomorrow. My desk and my bed and stuff. Hopefully we can get it all into the car. Hmmm... what else? Harry Potter is coming out soon! Yay!! I have to remember to book of the july 16th so that Hazel and I can pick up our books at midnight on the 15th. :D I think thats about all for now. Bye!! Only 64% popularity :O. I'm sure an episode with Patrick Stewart would be more popular than that. I felt I should put this up just because the getaway vehicle was a pogo stick. LOL. Look Janice!! CSI: Queensville is going to be a success!! LOL. Janice, thank you for saving me from that pen stabbing and burglary incident. Current Mood: bored |
